The Waterfront Terrace and Courtyard were built for ceremonies at golden hour, and The COVE carries the celebration through dinner and dancing without ever leaving the property. Our catering team, with roots in Citron Caterers' thirty-plus years of off-premise event work, handles everything from tastings to the last toast.

The Entire Venue configuration seats up to 500 and gives fundraising committees a single waterfront address for cocktail reception, seated dinner, live auction, and after-party. Corporate and pharma-affiliated foundations can request pharma-compliant menu options where required.

Our Story

Family owned, ten years on the water

"We've catered for five presidents, the NFL, the Rolling Stones, and Oprah, and we still taste every dish before it leaves the kitchen."

Charles and Susan Levine opened Citron Baltimore at Quarry Lake in November 2016, and this November marks ten years on the waterfront. Charles brings more than forty years in the events industry and roughly fourteen thousand catered events to the table, built through Citron Caterers, the family's off-premise catering operation, now in its fourth decade of serving Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.

In the kitchen, Executive Chef Mary Hersh leads a scratch-built, seasonal program: center-cut steaks, day-boat seafood, house-made pastas, and a full sushi bar, backed by a wine list Wine Spectator has honored with the Award of Excellence every year since 2019, plus FINE WINE's World's Best recognition in 2025.

Fireplace Room

Ideal for: intimate dinners, small board meetings, anniversary parties

Our smallest and most intimate room, the Fireplace Room seats up to twenty around a live-fire hearth. It's the first room we recommend for a milestone birthday dinner or a small family celebration that wants a bit of ceremony without a lot of scale.

Mirror Room

A bright, mirrored private room suited to seated dinners with a formal edge.

Ideal for: rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, executive lunches

Floor-to-ceiling mirrored walls make this twenty-six-seat room feel larger and brighter than its footprint, which is exactly why it's a favorite for rehearsal dinners and engagement celebrations that want a formal, photograph-ready setting.

Club Room

A flexible mid-size room for corporate dinners and milestone celebrations.

Ideal for: corporate dinners, bar and bat mitzvahs, milestone birthdays

The Club Room seats up to fifty and reconfigures easily between boardroom-style corporate dinners and a dance-floor-ready lifecycle celebration. Savant-powered AV is built into the room for presentations or a DJ setup.

Waterfront Terrace

A heated, open-air terrace with direct views over Quarry Lake.

Ideal for: cocktail-hour ceremonies, sunset dinners, engagement parties

Heated for three-season comfort, the Waterfront Terrace puts fifty guests directly on the water for a ceremony, a cocktail hour, or a seated dinner under the open sky, with the main dining room as an easy indoor backup.

Citron Bar

A lively buyout of our bar and lounge for cocktail-style receptions.

Ideal for: happy-hour buyouts, holiday parties, product launches

A full buyout of our handcrafted-cocktail bar and lounge, built for standing receptions up to one hundred twenty-five. It's our go-to recommendation for a corporate holiday party or a launch event that wants energy over formality.

Waterfront Courtyard

An open-air courtyard on the water, ideal for ceremonies and receptions.

Ideal for: wedding ceremonies, large cocktail receptions, outdoor galas

Our largest outdoor footprint, the Waterfront Courtyard holds up to two hundred guests for a ceremony or standing reception with Quarry Lake as the backdrop, and connects directly into The COVE for a seamless move indoors.

The COVE

Our dedicated event ballroom, built for seated dinners and dancing.

Ideal for: weddings, galas, large corporate dinners

The COVE is our purpose-built event ballroom, seating up to two hundred with a dedicated dance floor, staging, and Savant-powered AV and lighting. It's the room behind most of the weddings and galas we host each year.

Ideal for: galas, festivals, multi-room corporate summits
